Alpes Maritimes
The Alpes Maritimes are the symbol of the Côte d'Azur. It's the most luxurous, the most prestigious and consequently the most expensive department of Provence Côte d'Azur.
It's a department which specificity is to be bordered by the Mediteranean sea on one side and the Alpes on the other side. The Alpes du Sud are very close to the mediteranean sea. In some priviliged places, in Cannes neighbourhood, you can appreciate sea and mountain
wedding in a fabulous environment.
Spare time activities are as fantastic as the countryside: skiing on saturday, followed by sailing board or diving activities on sunday, and above all under sunny days and without the noise of the parisian "Périphérique" (don't worry about that
!).
From Menton to Mandelieu, there are very few non-urbanized places, and few constructive pieces of land. You must focus your attention on already built houses, because you will hardly find a constructive piece of land to build a new house.
The neighbourhood of the technical pole Sophia-Antipolis, very dynamic area, leads to move population from the west side of the department to the Var department.
It's a real difficulty to move far from this littoral land, as too much limited by sea and mountain. The roads to inland are quickly of hard slope and curved. But the final advantage of this disadvantage is to be able to find built houses with an absolutely unique
view-point.
